Dr. Keisha A. Kidan

Trainer, Educator & Entrepreneur

Welcome! My name is Dr. Keisha Kidan and I can't wait to connect with you!

I am a lifelong Chicagoan, born and raised on the South side.  My mother was a teacher, father an engineer and though divorced, I always felt loved and supported by my grandmother, mother and extended family and friends. After many years of working as a Realtor, (running away from education), I finally answered the call and began teaching adults part-time for City Colleges in 2006 as a Business and Entrepreneurship instructor. My first official full-time job in education was with Chicago Public Schools working as an online education manager (high school credit recovery & middle school advancement).

I am currently in a role working for the National Association of Realtors in the education department. Education and its merge with technology is the cornerstone of my passions. I develop online courses, videos and webinars for Realtors.  It is a merge of my love for real estate and education and I feel it is a great role to connect my career paths.  In my free time, I love to serve in the community. I work as a volunteer in several non-profit organizations, I am a charter member of the Magnificent Mile Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. and I am a member of the Chicago Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. I also enjoy listening to music, dancing, riding my Peloton (#kkthe1),  dining al fresco (Summertime Chi!), travel, great conversation and spending time with my only child.

CONNECTED TO THE COMMUNITY

I was raised to give to others by working in the food pantry at my church as a child.  Since that time, I have loved to find ways to use my time and skills to help non-profit organizations.
